Eric Bhattacharya
Paris-born pianist Eric Bhattacharya studied music at the well-known Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris - Alfred Cortot School, where he completed a concert licence in piano and chamber music.
He continued his piano studies with Prof. Conrad Hansen in Hamburg and the world famous argentinian pianist Bruno Leonardo Gelber. He also participated in international master classes with Magda Tagliaferro (Paris) and Prof. Hans Leygraf, Prof. Helena Costa and Prof. Claude Helffer (Salzburg).
Numerous concert tours have taken Eric Bhattacharya all over Europe as well as South Asia and South America.
Eric Bhattacharya lives and works as a freelance pianist and piano teacher in Hamburg.
My commitment
Anyone who comes to my piano lessons without any prior knowledge will be introcuded to the world of music in a structured and pleasant way.
Step by step you will learn how to play the piano and soon realize which musical genres give you the most pleasure.
Many interested people have already learned the piano basics. You are invited to expand these skills. Even better: If you have already learned the basics of piano, you are invited to expand those skills.
With professional guidance and practice your piano playing will always get better. For students or those who aspire to study at a higher level, I have a number of special programs and crash courses for exam preparations, such as admission to the conservatory or other highscool music programs.
My goal is to help my students access to the intensity and power of the music through piano playing.
